Welcome to FoAM’s online shop, where we trade goods produced across our network.

We work across art, science, nature and everyday life, and the products in this shop reflect the diverse interests of the people involved.

The impetus to open the shop came from developing FoAM’s Anarchive, a series of publications gathering stories and materials with (re)generative potential, to sustain and inspire us in the years to come. This shop allows us to open the Anarchive and its collection of fascicles – books, cards, fragrances and other curiosa – to a wider group of ‘generally curious characters’.

While parts of our network have experimented with trading operations over the years – dealing items from groceries to NFTs – this shop is our first shared venture into online commerce as FoAM. It links to our interest in experimenting with business and opens its own questions.

How does a shifting formation of colleagues and collaborators manage the practicalities of ‘fulfilment’ (storage, postage and packing)? How to reconcile accounts as we move regularly between national jurisdictions? Not anything we plan to solve, but things to experiment with, while the shop remains open.
